The city of Trnava addressed the need to have a clear and unified record of investment projects that were created across multiple departments. Information about budgets, deadlines, contracts, and suppliers was located in different applications, documents, emails, and spreadsheets. 

This way of working made it difficult to control projects, increased the risk of errors, and complicated cooperation between the city's various departments, leading to longer project implementation periods. 

The goal was to create centralized solution, which will ensure unified registration The investment management system will eliminate duplications and provide an up-to-date overview of the status of each investment action – from the idea to its maintenance and handover. 

Solution 

For the City of Trnava, we designed and implemented an application for the recording of investment actions that: 

• centralizes all investment projects in one place, 
• allows the monitoring of budgets, deadlines and responsible persons, 
• records the suppliers and related documentation for each investment, 
• eliminates the loss of documents in email communication, 
• provides an up-to-date overview of the status of investment actions in real time.

The application is built on SharePoint within Microsoft 365, complemented by automated workflows and a clear user interface.
