The Home Project works with clients, helping them with housing solutions, land ownership, and the gradual steps towards a stable home. The original record-keeping method involved a combination of Excel spreadsheets, documents, and email communication. 

Information about clients, their land, and completed activities was scattered across multiple locations, which complicated: maintaining up-to-date data, an overview of the status of individual cases, and work continuity when responsible persons changed. 

The goal was to create unified internal solution, which will simplify record-keeping, reduce errors, and allow the team to focus more on direct client work. 

Solution 

For the Home Project, we designed and implemented an application for client, property, and related activity records, who: 

  • centralizes client and property data in one place,  
  • connects clients to specific project activities, tasks, and milestones, 
  • eliminates manual data re-entry and duplication, 
  • provides a clear overview of the status of each client case, 
  • enables secure storage and management of related documentation. 

The entire solution is designed to naturally fit into the project team's work and support their daily processes. 

Technology 

The solution is built on SharePoint Online within Microsoft 365, supplemented with automated workflows, application logic, and a clear user interface. 

The advantage of the solution is: 

  • full integration into the existing Microsoft environment, 
  • central and secure storage of data and documents, 
  • easy to use without the need for external tools, 
  • minimal user training requirements. 

Result 

Thanks to the implementation of the solution, Project Home achieved: 

  • significant time savings in data recording and management, 
  • better consistency and up-to-dateness of data, 
  • A clear overview of clients, properties, and their activities., 
  • simpler reporting and planning of next steps, 
  • Improve the project team's work efficiency. 

The solution shows that properly implemented digitalization can significantly simplify even complex social projects without increasing administrative burden.
