The Slovak Bar Association (SAK) needed to ensure reliable, secure, and transparent elections and voting during the 2025 Advocates' Conference \u2013 for both physically present participants and those joining online. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The goal was to create a solution that could handle high demands for the identity, anonymity, and trustworthiness of the process, while also being easy to use without the need for installing additional applications. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Solution<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Before SAK, we set up a complete digital election and voting system, from secure login and anonymous voting to automatic result evaluation. We secured voting through an online portal and our on-site hardware kiosks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The solution allowed for:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • individual verification of each voter's identity,\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • anonymous voting in bodies from online or from kiosks,\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • anonymous voting on regulations via an app or voting devices,\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • the same comfort for online and in-person participants,\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • immediate availability of results without manual processing.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Technology<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    The entire solution is built on SharePoint Online as part of Microsoft 365, which ensures identity, process, and data management. The advantage is that the system doesn't remain a one-off solution, but can also be further used for internal decision-making or voting within the chamber. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Result<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Digital elections for the Slovak Bar Association proceeded without outages or technical problems, with a high level of security and transparency in a hybrid format accessible to lawyers from anywhere.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
